Content and Communications Lead
Courtney Wicksteed is the Content and Communications Lead at Naked Insurance, where she owns how the brand communicates with customers across every touchpoint, from finding us on Google, all the way through to claims.
Since joining Naked in 2019, she has built the content, SEO, and communications function from the ground up, developing deep expertise in how South Africans think about and engage with short-term insurance. Her work spans brand voice, editorial and educational content, PR, organic search strategy, customer communications, and content-led partnerships. Across all of it, her focus is the same: making complex insurance concepts accessible to everyday South Africans.
She works closely with product, claims, and marketing teams to ensure customers always know what to expect and what to do next. She also heads up WheelTalk, Naked's weekly car advice segment on 947's Drive with Thando, and leads collaborations with content creators to bring Naked's perspective to a wider audience, helping more South Africans understand not just how insurance works, but why it matters in real life.
Before joining Naked, Courtney worked in advertising at Joe Public United. She studied Creative Brand Communications at Vega School.
